主要要求变更概述：需要接受「防护罩冲击 (Guard Impact) 测试」的产品范围扩大，包括所有携带型、窗口式、嵌地式、置于低矮架空层 (Crawl Space) 或安装于距离地面 7 英呎以内的入墙式 (Wall Insert) 风扇。
对具有电源插座 (Convenience Receptacle) 的产品，新增/ 修订插座位置与额定值之要求。
标示为适合商业用、工业用或农业用之挂墙扇 (Wall-mounted)、天花板吊扇 (Ceiling-mounted)、工字梁挂扇 (I-beam) 或悬垂托架式吊扇 (Suspension- bracket-mounted)，其电线长度最低要求增加至 0.5 公尺 (1.5 英呎)。

UL758 标准更新
标准名称与说明：家电配线材料 (Appliance Wiring Material) 安全标准，第2版

主要要求变更概述：所有按照挤压绝缘之高压直流电线 (High Voltage DC Wire with Extruded Insulation) 标准测试的产品，须接受水平或 VW-1 耐燃测试。UL 将透过后续检验服务 (FUS) 时，挑拣样本来进行测试，以确定产品是否符合新修订要求。
  B- m  S- d+ J9 b* n& f& K6 b在 UL 1581 标准第 50 节内未提及的所有物料，除接受 90 日、120 日及 150 日抗拉力 (Tensile) 和伸长率 (Elongation) 测试外，在 150 日老化后，还需接受弯曲测试 (Flexibility Test) 和耐电压测试 (Dielectric Test) 之方法 I 及 II。老化需按照 UL 1581 标准第 481.3节所指定的温度进行。如曾以高于第 481.3 节所指定的温度测试之产品，即被视为已符合这项要求。
. L& c# g1 j5 L" B1 n所有用在最外层的挤压成形之聚合物护层 (Extruded Polymeric Coverings)，无论是有关线材型号的强制性或选择性要求，均须依据外被要求进行测试。具有非强制性护层的线型，可加插 Facing Page，而不将护层列入认可结构范围之内。
' p6 U2 x- V. Q( X/ b+ F  P, G凡使用 CP、NBR/PVC 及 SBR/NR 等物料的线材型号，皆需接受复核，以确定是否符合 UL 1581 标准第 50 节的伸长复原 (Elongation Recovery) 测试要求。级别低于 UL 1581 标准第 50 节内要求的物料，则须依据第 50 节所指定之温度进行老化，或依据 UL 1581 标准第 481 节之要求进行长时间老化。

标准名称与说明：软电线及电缆 (Flexible Cords and Cables) 标准，第17版

/ l) ^& k' i5 I) Y" K, \' v8 Y主要要求变更概述：STOO、SJTOO、STW、STOW、SJTW、SJTOOW 及 SJTOW 不再被列名为「低漏电 (Low Leakage)」。HPN 型电线不再被列名为可使用 15 AWG 导体。使用 10 AWG 导体的 SRD、SRDT 及 SRDE 等线型，需使用10 AWG 接地导体 (Grounding Conductor)。所有 “W” 级别电线之 TPE 绝缘导体须在 60°C (非 50°C) 温度下进行电容率测试 (Permittivity Test)。
% ^2 S# m  L$ M标示 (Marking)：电线表面不可标示 “Outdoor” 字样，但必须印上最高温度级别 (包括 60°C) 及至少一种燃烧级别。PXT 及 SPT-1 (20 AWG) 线型之包装盒标示须含有 “Not for sale to the general public” 字样。
变更绝缘及外被 (Jacket) 的级别编号。对升降机电缆的绝缘导体绞距 (Lay of Insulated Conductors) 之长度作出规范。SRDE、SRDT 及 SRD 等线型的电火花测试电压 (Spark Test Potential) 从 6kV 提高至 7.5kV。只有 “W” 级别电线之温度额定值可低于 -20°C。于此，后续检验程序书 (FUS Procedure) 上有关的额定值亦将更新，厂检代表将于工厂检验时判断产品是否符合新修订的规范。
