components in different ways. We at SEMKO have always measured the laser emission from
( n- }: x s7 f3 n! D! M& Lthe product when the laser component are installed and are in operation as in normal use of. {. ]/ h( o: b; Y1 B
the product. The laser emission is also measured when abnormal operation of the product is( ^% |* l, Z2 Y- M/ G
simulated.
, v8 q: T% S+ m# V) `% Z2 `We are doing the measurements regardless whether the laser component, for instance a laser
- ~! g2 ]* p3 `1 ereader head, is separately "laser tested" or not.3 U0 r, q, q8 j! ^

The complete equipment shall comply with the IEC 60825 series of standards referenced as
