Some appliances have the following circuit:

; U) B" H) a! qIn our opinion, an additional mechanical thermal cut-out is required.
Convenor’s note:
In clause 19.5, the electronic thermostat will operate to limit the temperature in one
configuration. This enquiry is to seek confirmation whether an additional cut out is
3 j$ H+ a' b3 X0 ?: k' |required to comply with 19.5 if a single fault prevents the operation of the thermostat.
