The sub-clause 30.2.3.1 requires the glow wire test on three specimens according to IEC 60695-2-12 to verify the GWFI of 850 °C of insulating materials supporting connections for current exceeding 0,2A and of parts of insulating material within a distance of 3 mm of such connections. As there are many difficulties to receive from the manufacturers the three specimens required for the GWFI test, is it possible to accept a declaration of the manufacturer, with reference to the thickness and colour, that the plastics used have a GWFI of 850 °C? Or the document 61/2869/CDV which is under vote during the IEC/TC61 has to be taken into0 O/ [! R9 ^4 ]: a/ f* |3 {1 _
