! k7 e# e, [$ Y3 \* d3 C" x# t' }In the photographs included below, a construction is shown with material not resistant to the glow wire test at 750ºC/850ºC marked PP and a terminal block mounted on 3 pins moulded on the material. In order to separate the connection area from the plastic part PP, a piece of a different material has been interposed. The pins fixing the terminal block are still made of material PP and are within a distance of less than 3 mm. Should material PP in this construction be tested with glow wire test at 750ºC/850ºC?
( x% x0 Y5 ?. g& Z5 BDecision:
# L/ i5 M6 t$ S3 E2 T9 h3 TThe material shall be tested if it is less 3 mm from the connection. The 3 mm distance has to be measured from the point of connection between the wire and the screw inside the terminal and not from other terminal part.
