Question:
IEC 60598-2-2, sub-clause 2.11. The new paragraph may be understood to mean that accessible components mounted on external part of the luminaire within the ceiling space shall have the same IPX-degree as required for the part of the luminaire protruding beneath the ceiling. Is it correct?
Decision:
This refers only to paragraph 8, protection against electric shock and not to IP classifications.
