Yes, that's the best way, and need you to communicate with the supplier for the description of the insulation system. ; N9 r- f; O+ i% B
As well, you also need to keep those BOM/Critical components information in file, in order to show the traceability to the UL auditor when the factory audit is coming.; b8 S$ j. a& x# e
By the way, normally, the model/type designation of the insulation system should be indicated on your products(end products), that's for sure to let UL auditor know the insulation system information when she/he is checking the conformance of your products. And in this case, UL auditor will not check for further information, and the conformance of the insulation system will be checked at the manufacturer of the insulation system, but sometimes, some UL auditor will check the detailed information of the insulation system in your factory, so that's why I suggest you to ask your supplier to provide the description of the insulation system(COC documents)... |
