Overview

assemblies. It covers materials and components of assembled/ D- A( G7 R& i2 N0 @
printed wiring boards, including a board itself, when these can only
/ R2 f1 }; ]& e+ u5 ]: ]0 Dbe identified at a board assembly location. This program is used9 n% {/ C6 ]* N6 Y4 j
when printed wiring boards are assembled remotely from an endproduct
5 t2 [/ v/ G" D9 omanufacturing location and traceability of a board or its- J8 g! |9 b8 N1 Q# N
components is a concern. It is intended to address traceability of a
8 d4 C8 K! ~. u$ U: C7 m* NUL Recognized board and/or components only. All other aspects of7 k3 b" V" k u2 _. B% }
design, spacings, etc., are evaluated as part of the UL investigation! z/ X* }$ n7 e/ F

withdrawal, assembly, packaging and shipping. Printed wiring

, g4 W$ A$ Y* s$ s# h. Dassembler’s name and UL code designation on a part, shipping
) ~ I5 f, u* i& ^. ocontainer or included specification sheet. Relevant material and' j/ \2 z; y* {) M8 w
component manufacturer name and type designations are marked: l7 G! N# G1 T5 R, K6 E6 F: k5 T
on a part, shipping container or accompanying documentation. In
