[' S. R+ `/ M* l+ b2 {7 E. ^4 o- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or similar knowledge level.
; R! k3 y/ `: ]; R5 e5 L7 }3 f- Strong safety knowledge (IEC & UL)
$ ?/ {* N9 h" k% I- Strong ability to deal with/learn international test/safety standards. 8 y6 N- ?- Y1 h7 D8 w* G
- Creative and pro-active in translating knowledge from testing result into proposals for improvements.
. \# u5 r9 z1 @/ ^" S# a- Several years of experience in small appliances safety certification/testing.
) O5 ~3 H0 g+ d( u% D- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and presentations).
6 y- _& V5 c5 U2 C7 ]" @5 }- Strong capabilities to communicate with management and colleagues in the own product organization, as well as external suppliers, testing institutes and service centers.

Key operational responsibilities
- j# T- z3 a% T3 O( VAs a Safety Engineer your main tasks will be to;
5 V6 K" Q: S) d2 s9 s$ K9 X- Be responsible for safety tests/certification of small appliances.
) V( S+ f3 h- {7 P* s- Be the safety consultant of small appliances.6 u% `4 R3 Q" q5 u
- Communicate with testing institutes to deal with the certification/safety test problems./ L7 r& Z" X4 j5 F/ B1 }
- Test according to IEC/UL and national standard
- H9 X" M" R* h5 G- Guide/instruct the team members in the right way to perform safety tests.
/ z F/ @( e( Y- Check instructions for use and do corresponding adjustments and/or additions. 3 u% N3 |% v( P* V
- Plan the lab activities and time required for the tests
% G1 v( h8 {5 f+ e1 G- Evaluate test results and create new solutions and improvements. \- Z* _# k% Z+ o* R* U
