& j4 q2 e3 O4 vWASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Crosley®, Frigidaire®, Kelvinator®, Kenmore®, Wascomat®, and White-Westinghouse® clothes washers

. V/ ]6 F9 @0 J# U/ T1 _2 V9 ZHazard: An internal defect in the washer drain pump can cause heat to build up, posing a fire hazard to the consumer.

Incidents/Injuries: No incidents or injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves the Crosley®, Frigidaire®, Kelvinator®, Kenmore®, Wascomat®, and White-Westinghouse® top load washers, 3.1 cubic foot front load washers and laundry centers.

( Z- U! \1 Y. Q9 i! ]Top load washer = open the product抯 lid, and the model and serial number are located inside the product抯 lid, on the top, right hand corner.

Front load washer = open the door, and the model and serial number are located with other information at the top, center.
