0 ~7 a& o) o2 `" k( L# G- dHow are heating tests performed for an appliance which in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions may be used at high temperature, for example 45 °C.

If a manufacturer declares an ambient temperature exceeding 25oC, all the heating tests shall be conducted at an ambient temperature of 23± 2 oC. The allowable temperature rise shall be reduced by the difference between the declared temperature and 25 oC. This decision is based on the note 2 of Table 3, clause 11 of IEC 60335-1.
