UL   appliance internal wires 之UL 758 电子线都需要满足 VW-1.從2018-01-01開始執行.

10.8 Internal wiring composed of insulated conductors shall comply with the Standard for Appliance

Exception No. 1: Insulated conductors need not comply with UL 758， if they comply with one of the
following:
# l" A' @' m0 l7 V$ i4 W* Ja) The Standard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44;
b) The Standard for Thermoplastic-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 83; or
0 p! F4 I8 g) B3 w) U* E2 t1 ~c) The applicable UL standard for other insulated conductor types specified in Wiring Methods
and Materials, of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.

Exception No. 2: Insulated conductors for specialty applications (e.g. data processing or communications)
and located in a low-voltage circuit not involving the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons need

Exception No. 3: Wiring in the appliance does not need to be VW-1 if all of the following criteria are met:

a) Wire insulation consists of silicone or inorganic materials with glass or aramid braid fiberous

! k9 L: C) l5 o! n- pb) Conductors shall be stranded copper wire having a 600 Vac minimum insulation rating for
- U; g; m) o: |1 `0 C% p! V& vhigh voltage circuits and having a 300 Vac insulation rating for low voltage circuits. Maximum
current rating would be based on Table 10.1.

c) The product is compliant to 77A for all electrical connections that involve internal wire not
: p- b4 m9 F' \& w) G: D! jrated VW-1.
