consisting of a single layer, by measurement in accordance with 29.3.4, or
9 T l: t* I( K) R8 B) I+ T3 H– as specified in Subclause 6.3 of IEC 60664-4 for insulation that is subjected to any
( n1 {6 F+ G1 gperiodic voltage having a frequency that exceeds 30 kHz.

supplementary insulation. Supplementary insulation shall consist of at least 2 layers of

29.3.3 The insulation is subjected to the dry heat test Bb of IEC 60068-2-2 for 48 h at a
- S$ ~% a7 e) G1 R* mtemperature of 50 K in excess of the maximum temperature rise measured during the test of$ w+ n$ ^5 e: U# d! ?1 l# g( Z9 Y a
Clause 19. At the end of the period, the insulation is subjected to the electric strength test of; K6 {6 i( {) D. P! J0 B$ Z
16.3 at the conditioning temperature and also after it has cooled down to room temperature.$ J6 K" t# S5 a; H) U
If the temperature rise of the insulation measured during the tests of Clause 19 does not5 x) h" O/ O/ k. K
exceed the value specified in Table 3, the test of IEC 60068-2-2 is not carried out.+ o: q, Q7 N* x/ m9 H M+ M
