133.2.2 A 35 pound (16 kg) weight is to be suspended from the cord for 1 minute so that the force is
applied in any direction that will most likely result in stressing the cord opening or bushing. When the lamp
surface that supports the strain relief is fragile, care is to be taken to properly support that surface during
the test. For instance, when the strain relief consists of a knot in the cord bearing against the side of a
ceramic figurine, the surface under the figurine is to be padded such that the pull exerted on the cord is
the only strain on the area providing the strain relief.
133.3 Test results
133.3.1 The results of the test do not meet the intent of the requirement when any of the following
conditions occur:
a) The insulation or covering on the flexible cord or wiring is cut or torn.
b) The bushing slides through the hole in the chassis or enclosure.
c) A cemented-on bushing slides on the cord.
d) For a cord or wiring that is not severed at the terminals, strain is placed on internal
conductors.
e) For a cord or wiring that is severed at the terminals, there is movement of the cord of more
than 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) at the points where the connections are made or where the conductors
are permanently assembled to the terminals.

84.1 General
84.1.1 A pull exerted on a cord shall not be transmitted directly to the terminals of a fitting.
Exception: This test need not be performed on constructions which are subjected to the Abrupt Pull Test

84.2 General-purpose fittings
84.2.1 The assembly of the cord to a fitting other than a flatiron plug, an appliance plug, or a through-cord
heating-pad switch shall be capable of withstanding a straight pull of 30 lbf (133 N) if the conductors are
No. 18 AWG or larger, and 20 lbf (89 N) if smaller than No. 18 AWG, applied between the fitting and the
cord.
Exception: A through-cord assembly is to be tested cord-to-cord with the switch in between. The
detachment of either conductor of the cord from the terminal of the fitting is not acceptable.
84.2.2 The fitting is to be securely supported by a rigid, flat plate mounted horizontally. The plate is to
have a hole just large enough for the supply cord to pass through. A pull of 20 lbf (89 N) or of 30 lbf (133
N), as specified in 84.2.1, is to be applied by means of a weight for 1 minute to the flexible cord, in a
direction perpendicular to the plane of the cord-entry hole for a device other than a through-cord switch.
Exception: A fitting that has the major axis of its blades perpendicular to the plane of the cord-entry
opening may be supported by the blades when the test is conducted.

先在器具内部靠近电源线接线端子处将电源线剪断,然后电源线在器具结构允许的最不利的角度承受35Lb(156N)拉力1分钟,测试后,铜导线不能有明显位移(一般不能超过1mm)
注:有些产品可能不是用35Lb拉力,需看相关标准的具体要求
量位移的时候是不是量被剪开的地方啊?
