+ V8 R) ~3 T2 V& F% j" MThe body material need a flame retardantfor UL (so it should have a V-grade) and we must avoid Brominated FlameRetardant (Bfr free) for Philips policy. ( ^% s0 u4 |/ t. S- {
For IEC we don’t need a flame retardantsince it is not in contact with live parts but we need to fulfill the AbnormalUse requirement (short circuit of the relay and TCO) where the surfacetemperature shouldn’t go above a certain temperature (delta T) andshould not melt (if it melts should be that the clearance distances are stillOk and should be no access to the live parts but we prefer it not melts in thiscase).
