I believe "come off" is an acceptable wording but not as good as "fall out" or "fall out of position".
So that the translation will be:
Two of the screws on a sample fell out and two on the other worked loose.
Note: we should use the wording "two of the screws" because normally we have more than 2 screws on a unit. If we only have 2 screws on the sample, we don't have to emphasize "two" here, we just say "Screws on a sample" or "Both screws on a sample".
The word "lost" will lead to confusion because it implies that you can't find it. |
