关于挡墙上开孔的原文：（请问红色部分怎么理解/翻译）
Openings in a barrier for the passage of wires shall not be larger in diameter than 6.4 mm (1/4 in), and shall not exceed in number the total number of conductors that will pass through the barrier. A closure for an opening shall present a smooth surface wherever an insulated wire may come in contact with it, and the area of any such opening, with the closure removed, shall not be larger than required for the passage of the necessary wires .

我的理解是：当移除closure后，开孔面积肯定是要大于passage，而这段文字说不能大于passage
