Insulated wires shall be equivalent FV-1 or better. Wires are not generally tested and rated according to FV-1. It is not easy to establish equivalence between different test classifications/methods if you are not involved directly in such testing procedures.
; X! L5 Y7 d( vWires typically are rated VW-1 or FT-1. It is unclear if these flammability ratings are equivalent and thus acceptable (Same problem exists with IEC 60601-1 ed. 3)3 a; e1 l1 I2 c: J6 S
