safety. We recently conducted seminars in Hong Kong, Toronto, and New Jersey to explain4 Q* @" _6 Y% q& i" m- S# r5 }4 X
some changes in our Quality Assurance Programs for 2009.

• We will test in accordance with regulatory guidelines regarding accessibility and exceptions

product inclusive of brand name, country of origin, importer of record, and/or purchase order9 u" G2 y+ Z: g* A! k
type.

compliance. On “domestic purchase orders, Toys R Us Canada will periodically request3 }5 [& o' D$ l: P2 c$ X
documentation supporting the Phthalate mandate.5 r' v+ i1 }5 X/ q' ], H
• All items within scope of AB 1108, CPSIA, or EU phthalate directive must be “P4” compliant( b5 d* {( X( N+ x9 s1 V, C
(i.e. not contain greater than 0.1% w/w of DEHP, DBP, BBP, or DnHP). Mouthable items
- R8 R+ R" N) B/ F! L& pmust additionally not contain <0.1% DnOP, DIDP, or DINP (“P7” compliant).+ k8 ^4 h7 e$ ?
• Phthalates will be tested in surface coatings; also inaccessible components may be tested
