The basic insulation shall be electrically equivalent to the basic insulation of cords complying with IEC 60227 or IEC 60245 or comply with the following electric strength test. $ g# G0 }1 N/ g7 t1 dA voltage of 2 000 V is applied for 15 min between the conductor and metal foil wrapped around the insulation.
