More and more ITE manufacturers are nowadays providing the safety, user, operating, safety and installation instructions on company web site, and the use of the internet is now more integrated in the everyday life.& Q( C* O6 K4 h% z8 u+ h4 l9 r
1. Is it acceptable to refer to the company web page for the safety and installation instructions and user manual? 3 H B. M5 ?! O/ s; q2. If the above is not acceptable, what kind of safety relevant information should be made available in hard copy? {( t/ N- j/ l7 q# n3 X
Decision: This decision replaces 95/11 with the amended text in red: Safety relevant documentation has to be as a hardcopy. However, the guidelines given in UL PAG (1.7.2-3, 2013-06-24) and LVD ADCO (Lvd adco 10-11 doc 06 rev2) are also acceptable approaches by OSM. Attached to this decision document.
