4.37.2 Toys with an end mass greater than 0.02 kg (0.04 lb) shall have cord length less than 50 cm (20 in.) measured when6 B: C( Y, A6 \; I+ b- }0 t. y
rotating at 80 r/min. Testing shall be conducted in accordance with 8.23.

2 t7 V: x: i- @8.23 Yo Yo Elastic Tether Toy Test Methods:
. n, G" f9 L. y0 u8 E, |" |8.23.1 Hold yo yo elastic tether toy by whatever holding device is supplied, typically a small loop. Rotate the product in
# d( A9 g& `! m1 X- aa horizontal plane using any convenient means to achieve a constant rotational speed. A variable speed drill is one method/ T3 G8 Z9 q$ i" V% R/ k2 E
of achieving 80 r/min. Rotation of the product is to start slowly and gradually increase to 80 r/min (over a period of approximately 10 to 60 s). If air resistance properties of product are such that it cannot be rotated at 80 r/min, testing shall be performed at maximum achievable speed.
