WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Boys?Hooded Sweatshirts0 c7 _1 Q W* Z" Z+ I* E
Units: About 7255 \& `$ k4 v7 U; m$ C6 B$ \ U) i5 \
Distributer: C-Mrk Inc., of Vernon, Calif.2 \! x# h; E4 @" F6 K
Hazard: The hooded sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines (pdf) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck and waist drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets or sweatshirts./ |5 v9 G1 u' f7 {) V7 z1 K3 |

Description: The boys?hooded sweatshirts have the brand name Ocean Current and RN#67225 number in the neck label. The garments were sold in the color smoke and in sizes S-XL.0 E9 R; O% X8 C( r* a" Z
Sold at: Macy抯 department stores in Southern California from December 2008 through April 2009 for about $35.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment to either the place of purchase or to C-Mrk for a full refund.5 j( o1 C9 P/ f, D& p/ H1 e
