Compliance is checked by the following test:4 i- j* m% |% F0 s1 _
The insulation between
# c* T' o Y5 V6 ~' U R' D, O! a– TERMINALS for the connection of antenna and MAINS supply TERMINALS,! n( h1 [& x& W0 p4 y( h
and between
- _' ~. S- K$ r– MAINS supply TERMINALS and any other TERMINAL in case of apparatus providing supply* a% x) N! C( q2 A) a- Q4 x
voltages to other apparatus with antenna TERMINALS," j$ V' [- E8 z! T, r
is subjected to 50 discharges at a maximum rate of 12/min, from a 1 nF capacitor charged to
K" ]' M9 J& q4 [10 kV in a test circuit, as shown in Figure 5a.5 Q% M# {4 }; R, m- l; o& [% x
NOTE During this test, the apparatus should not be energized.
