Encapsulated Transformer comply with requirements of double insulation defined in

There is a conventional transformer with primary and secondary windings 220Vac / 12 Vac.5 A# G. P* V; [1 b* p# n9 e) i
Both windings are wound on the same part of the bobbin and separated by 8 layers of
! N" Y. X- c3 h8 ?2 i# P9 [insulation tape. The thickness of the tape is 0,05 mm which gives the distance through
" |( P" D/ h% j. Ginsulation between primary and secondary windings close to the end of the bobbin at least
6 j& f7 h4 y# @1 Z4 k0,4 mm. . The insulation tape has fringes and is depicted in the attached drawing. The0 ^. z8 v! ~- Q! H& k
transformer is vacuum impregnated by AralditCW2245N., ]. j1 w0 J/ y7 P: r+ P
The transformer has passed the test of . 2.9.6 and 2.9.7 of IEC60950 with humidity testing, m' j* m# x, h5 {! D* S. u) L
performed at 40C. This means that tests performed (temperature cycling test, Hipot test
- P' h) m2 R" p# e) V( G' Twith 3000x1,6Vac and sectioning after temperature cycling test) showed that there are no$ P0 F8 E- h$ c
voids nor cracks in the compund.
