Responsibilities:8 w1 ~5 W' ?8 o2 ?" ~
1. Perform pre-submittals safety design review and analysis of proposed Purchase for Resale (PFR) products, product review and testing 1 D/ V1 m" {. G3 C/ c
2. Critical component drawing reviews 1 \: J3 |$ w( r
3. Assist the PFR vendors with interfacing with the Agencies, i.e. CCC, UL, TUV etc * x' p3 a; @$ p3 i% i8 u
4. Perform CEA-CEB19 standard testing and all internal Bose DCE Safety tests, i.e. DC offset testing for passive speaker testing on PFR vendor products
# g' P& M- l' H; ^% O0 g5. Support CCC submittals for Bose USA designed products
, V/ `9 S+ d, v: a9 q4 C6. Handle alternate construction submittals with CCC, UL, and TUV etc
) ?# `( A6 }2 w% S7. Perform bi-annual follow-up inspections at the PFR vendors’ factories to verify the product has not changed
6 w; ?+ h' h% o+ x5 g5 O3 p( i8. Perform bi-annual CCC product verification review and testing for product Mfg in China
# M9 ]2 M( d: S6 R" c9. Support Agency follow-up inspections at PFR vendors factories and resolve any non-conformances # |; _; x- A. h8 N4 `, f
10. Interface with the Chinese Agency CQC to help to resolve issues related to current certifications , v2 n3 [% ?" }5 X/ \. b
11. Support power supply vendors in understanding certification requirements, perform preliminary construction review, support Project team to track supply approvals.

14. Product Store display design review for displays to be installed in third party retail stores and Bose stores for product demos; `4 ~7 b& U' L1 Y2 E
15. FINS (customer returns with possible safety issues) review for locally returned products / \5 S2 {; a# P( v3 `9 R/ o
16. Keep on top of changing local regulations so that the Design community can be advised of possible standard changes impacting current product and future designs

6 `" R8 C% b9 B8 K& Y& B• Minimum Electrical Tech degree and two to five years of applicable work experience in dealing with International Safety Agencies, UL. TUV, Intertek, CQC etc..: j9 ^1 S: f* T8 T q9 [
• Must have a working knowledge of UL/IEC60065 or similar standards with testing and Safety Agency interface experience.
: [9 W9 t3 y& i' _) u• Hands on familiarity with test equipment, Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc., and ability to perform all necessary safety testing preferred.
) e' m' W2 o& q1 h• Must be proactive and able to work independently with the ability to manage and coordinate several projects in parallel.
! x/ `! k1 x2 E0 W- J1 a& P• Strong written and verbal skills required.
" Y6 K3 l( F4 U( r• Must be fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Front Page a plus.
