some changes in our Quality Assurance Programs for 2009.

Our Product Standards Are Unchanged

• We will test in accordance with regulatory guidelines regarding accessibility and exceptions

Development Evaluation will be COC tested to global standards. (US, Canada, Europe, and! P: o9 G% H' G1 W: J

• Regional items such as EPB will be tested initially in the EU to EN standards, and an LOE

Canada must be Phthalate Compliant per Toys R Us guidelines. This standard applies to all- ]- |& c0 f7 @) R% m0 |2 s, v/ V
product inclusive of brand name, country of origin, importer of record, and/or purchase order8 w1 E5 B+ M: {: g Q0 y
type., v' q2 f9 K8 R+ J5 a b* S
• For imported items, the Phthalate compliance must be noted to receive a certificate of U2 Z C5 T9 E4 g# p
compliance. On “domestic purchase orders, Toys R Us Canada will periodically request& N- p% }: l* g2 z6 i3 s
documentation supporting the Phthalate mandate.4 I" g3 c4 ?. ]
• All items within scope of AB 1108, CPSIA, or EU phthalate directive must be “P4” compliant. V0 ~- C6 ` o# i
(i.e. not contain greater than 0.1% w/w of DEHP, DBP, BBP, or DnHP). Mouthable items+ N" a" b. G6 w/ W/ v
must additionally not contain <0.1% DnOP, DIDP, or DINP (“P7” compliant)." F3 s& M" Z; s- s
• Phthalates will be tested in surface coatings; also inaccessible components may be tested
0 H' V b' T! F6 t7 vunder certain circumstances.
