I can tell you that UL817 is for power supply cords, including the attachment plugs and the flexible cords,so that is why for the UL certification of power supply cords, there are always two UL files, one is for the whole supply cords, the other is SP file, only for the attachment plugs,but UL1310 is only for the attachment plugs, so they are different. And for FUS inspection, UL auditor always verify the whole power supply's test items, such as the strain relief, dielectric resistance,and etc, but for the attachment plugs, UL auditor will select another samples without the flexible cords and send them to UL office for testing, so the test items are also different.作者: Andy.Yang 时间: 2010-3-5 17:10
If you wanna know more detailed information, you can check your company's UL file, there is a description that which standards are used. Reading these two files step by step and item by item, you will learn more.5 _. y V9 k* G7 h* L
