美规电源线不可小于18AWG,内部线在一定条件下可以小于18AWG,请问附图内的文字如何理解?谢谢!!

导线若小于18AWG者, 则可用于内部使用, 但需要被妥当的放置予安全且牢固的外壳内之方式, 并且能提供短路及不正常作工测试如测试131A所提及.4 S& \9 T/ |4 r7 o4 @4 E; ?* T

131A.1 General

internal conductors smaller than 18 AWG (0.82 mm2), in accordance with 27.1.5, shall be tested in
9 L+ T+ W$ C8 p: Y0 taccordance with 131A.2 and 131A.3. Compliance criteria is described in 131A.4.

131A.2.1 For the short circuit test, three samples are to be mounted as intended, draped with
: a! W! `4 a0 T/ \/ ycheesecloth, and then a short circuit condition is to be introduced to simulate a line to neutral fault. The short should be located in the farthest series string to provide the maximum lead resistance.* f# v  {( j) {. D+ S. l! H

131A.2.2 The test is to be conducted:- |3 L! e5 H# A- V/ `; B* h
a) Until circuit interruption and resulting thermal stability occurs (usually no more than 10

b) 7 hours, when temperatures and current levels are being monitored and show no changes; W6 t: Q- x% g* I4 D# Y0 Z0 h
over 3 consecutive readings, 30 minutes apart; or

131A.3 Test method – abnormal operation

小于18AWG的线可用于灯具内多个光源的串联或串并联,光源必须不可替换的,且固定在坚固的灯罩内的,以防止电线的移动或缠绕,并且要进行导线短路测试和非正常操作测试。
