183.3.1 A portable luminaire having a polarized plug shall be provided with instructions for use of the plug. The instructions shall be titled ²IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS² in letters not less than 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) high. Immediately following the title shall be the following text or the equivalent: ²This portable luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
