灯具配一个内置驱动，驱动有认证并且是接线端子接地，那么整个灯具需要接地到外壳上面吗？还是驱动端子接地就行。" d1 A. S: r" O. R5 g

6.14.1.2 The following parts are not required to be bonded to ground:* K; I: U5 j; @- X# H3 v- ^: m, G
(a) the links of a metal chain used to support a pendant luminaire;

lampholders and switches) that are isolated from live parts; or# l. F% }" J6 L/ i- i
(c) decorative parts, metal guards, and metal shades that do not enclose live parts.5 u/ W3 M5 _- X8 y3 E& T
6.14.1.3 An individual grounding conductor of a chain-and-canopy suspended luminaire shall be  `0 M. u- T- j4 V# [
interwoven through the chain from the luminaire to the canopy. Installation instructions shall be provided8 H- H4 v6 M/ K& ~$ r, |8 j
in accordance with Table 20.1.1, Item 1.33.2 c! y" ~+ U: b, P- W4 J  x

如果是UL灯具，举UL1598来说，请参考红色字体部分，那是关键，that can involve the risk of shock是无法豁免的。
" I( ^% S9 J. x8 H8 m( E如果你驱动接地后，已经避免了involve the risk of shock，那么，外壳不接地又如何，那是可以的。

7.2.1 ....It is allowed to earth built-in control gear by means of fixing the control gear to earthed metal parts of the luminaire. Connection to protective earthing of the luminaire via the built-in control gear is not allowed.要留意以上这句话，如果是保护接地的话，灯具金属外壳还需要额外的接地。

看你的驱动输出是不是SELV了，如果是SELV的，那么即使是金属外壳，其也不需要接地。但是如果你想灯具的金属外壳通过驱动来接地，那样就是不行的了。

就算输出是SELV，但是如果金属外壳包裹初级部分，也是要接地的啊，因为初级还是高压，还是危险端
