UL appliance internal wires 之UL 758 电子线都需要满足 VW-1.從2018-01-01開始執行.

Wiring Material, UL 758 and shall have a flame rating of VW1.0 T6 r$ x- t& G

Exception No. 1: Insulated conductors need not comply with UL 758， if they comply with one of the

8 b8 w% B; A y# Q4 ~9 Wa) The Standard for Thermoset-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 44;
* f, K* R* ~! @+ z! H \" Zb) The Standard for Thermoplastic-Insulated Wires and Cables, UL 83; or! ~5 p0 q! M6 f! J( e
c) The applicable UL standard for other insulated conductor types specified in Wiring Methods
& _4 n; `% y2 S" Gand Materials, of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.

L, ^' s0 C: }3 V4 vException No. 2: Insulated conductors for specialty applications (e.g. data processing or communications)

not comply with UL 758.

Exception No. 3: Wiring in the appliance does not need to be VW-1 if all of the following criteria are met:
& S C1 ]6 Z! W5 S- z: n+ D4 s
a) Wire insulation consists of silicone or inorganic materials with glass or aramid braid fiberous
) z9 W0 w b4 J; m9 Y7 Mcovering. [For reference, examples UL Style 3251, 3257, 5420]

b) Conductors shall be stranded copper wire having a 600 Vac minimum insulation rating for) C0 V& i6 S3 M& g& s2 [+ e
high voltage circuits and having a 300 Vac insulation rating for low voltage circuits. Maximum
8 [( H1 o [+ w# l7 lcurrent rating would be based on Table 10.1.

c) The product is compliant to 77A for all electrical connections that involve internal wire not
3 @( X% c6 c& w7 K1 `rated VW-1.
