25.8 Pins of appliance inlets for very hot conditions shall be protected by nickel plating or be

of a material no less resistant to corrosion. The latter requirement does not apply to pins of

appliance inlets integrated or incorporated in an appliance or equipment, provided their

temperature does not exceed 140 °C in normal use.

问题：这里的Latter 指的是什么？如何理解这段话？
