61347-2-11. If the laser emits radiation in the wavelength range from 180 nm to 1! c$ t; J) I/ U# c9 A
mm, the LED shall also be tested according to IEC/EN 60825 –1 (Safety of laser
0 ]& N1 m9 \2 @/ R" L& Cproducts). Only LEDs classified as Class 1 lasers can be used without problems

(b) For Class III luminaires, the luminaires manufacturer shall provide on

correctly or shall inform the Testing Station about the trade mark, the type" G  l1 L- d2 \$ Z8 D# K- f& V8 C
and the technical characteristics of the appropriate control gear. There can* S8 Z3 \0 J; o& p0 s- y
be three different control gears: the type and the trade mark indicated by the
8 C# [5 r. ]& V* Qluminaire manufacturer; an electronic control gear clearly specified on the
; i; I, F+ H- ]luminaire instructions; a ferromagnetic control gear. The tests shall be
, g% T0 c( H. ycarried out as required in Section 12 according to IEC/EN 60598-2-6 with$ ?; d7 @1 D# v( o3 t* F+ [% p8 a6 Q. \

(*) When IEC/EN 61347-2-13 will be published, it will takes over IEC/EN
