06-EPA\talble of contents-volum one-section A.pdf ①EPA：Environmental Protection Agency的简称，美国环境保护署。EPA于1992年宣布了“能源之星”(Energy Star)计划，并得到了国际社会的积极响应。只要启动电脑，过不了几秒钟就能见到屏幕上出现“能源之星”的标志。能源之星的目标是当电脑系统的各个部件不活动时自动进入低功耗状态，当部件的能动性恢复(即当键盘、鼠标等被使用)时，电脑系统自动回到完全清醒的状态。对于符合能源之星规范的产品，EPA将发给能源之星标志“EPA POLLUTION PREVENTER”，意为“美国环境保护署认可的防污染的节能产品”。

EPA是美国环保署(U.S Environmental Protection Agency) 的英文缩写。总部设在华盛顿，直署美国总统。EPA负责建立环境项目的国家标准，监控强制性标准的执行和符合情况，并联合州政府和地方政府颁发了一系列商业以及工业许可证。
美国环境保护署的主要目的是保护人类健康和自然环境。自 1970 年以来， EPA 一直为给全美人民创造一个整洁的健康环境而努力。 EPA 在国家的环境科学及相关调查、教育和评估方面具有领导地位。同时 EPA 在各地的分支机构与其它行业组织、州政府一起合作开展各种污染防治计划和能源的节约等工作。
EPA 认证范围
柴油 / 汽油发动机设备、摩托车、车辆、汽车部件、气体、水处理设备、饮用水、农药等的检验和出证等。
2006 年 1 月 1 日 起，美国 EPA 将实行新的环保法规，出口到美国的汽车、摩托车必须通过 EPA 认证，获得 EPA 证书并加贴标志后方可进入美国市场。
如果产品在美国除加州之外的 49 个州进行销售，则只需要办理 EPA 认证就可以了；如果产品需要出口到美国加州，则需要办理 CARB 认证。

③EPA 是 Eicosapntemacnioc Acid 即二十碳五烯酸的英文缩写，是鱼油的主要成分。EPA属于Ω-3系列多不饱和脂肪酸，是人体自身不能合成但又不可缺少的重要营养素，因此称为人体必需脂肪酸。虽然亚麻酸在人体内可以转化为EPA，但此反应在人体中的速度很慢且转化量很少，远远不能满足人体对EPA的需要，因此必须从食物中直接补充。
EPA具有帮助降低胆固醇和甘油三酯的含量，促进体内饱和脂肪酸代谢。从而起到降低血液粘稠度，增进血液循环，提高组织供氧而消除疲劳。防止脂肪在血管壁的沉积，预防动脉粥样硬化的形成和发展、预防脑血栓、脑溢血、高血压等心血管疾病。
④EPA（Ethernet for Plant Automation）标准（全称《用于工业测量与控制系统的EPA系统结构与通信标准》）是在国家"863"计划支持下，由浙江大学、浙江中控技术股份有限公司共同主持，联合中国科学院沈阳自动化所、清华大学、大连理工大学、重庆邮电学院、上海工业自动化仪表研究所、北京华控技术有限责任公司、机械工业仪器仪表综合技术经济研究所等国内部分高校、科技院所、高新技术企业，在解决了以太网用于工业现场设备间通信的确定性通信调度、总线供电、网络安全、可互操作等关键技术的基础上，起草的我国第一个拥有自主知识产权的现场总线国家标准。
